THE BEGINNING Already in kindergarten (then my parents lived in Leningrad) in the class we were given watercolors. I didn’t like them terribly: everything spreads out, shaggy tassels ... Then I liked gouache more, because it keeps itself within the framework. I went to first grade already in Novosibirsk, there was also watercolor painting there. Then educational watercolor at an art school: endless still lifes, samovars, clay jugs and plastic apples. It was a test of strength. Then I entered the Mukhinskaya school in St. Petersburg and then completely laid eyes on the watercolor. But this was still not a stream in which you joyfully bathe. I worked as a designer for twenty years, at the same time practicing watercolors for myself, as they say, "on the table." He experimented a lot, searche...
